How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"Many of my drawings are derived from objects found in nature. A landscape becomes an abstraction, a cloud formation inspires me with its infinite shapes, the rings of a tree create continuous lines in my drawings."

"I hope for people to get lost in the patterns and colors."

What is your favorite material to work with?
"My favorite material is pastel because of how it turns to velvet on the paper. My other favorite material is oil paint; how it smells, how it feels, the colors, and the textures you can create with it."
